Love the colors and the action, wish I could understand the words. Since I lost my hearing we may watch TV an hour a year. That is usually to cover some earth shaking event, such as 9/11 and the shuttles major disasters. Sending love from Central Florida on the way to NC!
I have not heard of this show, but it does sound delightful. To be honest, I haven't watched much PBS since the kids outgrew Sesame Street, but I hear there are lots of great programs on it. I'll have to see what our PBS channel offers here.
I've transcribed the lyrics for anyone who would like to read them, and even had the pleasure of getting some help with them from Sharlette (the singer) herself!
Like summer tempests came my tears, love When I learned you'd been untrue But after rain must come a rainbow So until then here's what I do
Make believe you love me, darling Make believe you care Make believe you need me And I'll make believe you're there
Though the skies are dark and grey, love And the weatherman says fine And in my heart it will be raining Until the day that you are mine
Make believe you love me, darling Make believe you care Make believe you need me And I'll make believe you're there Make believe my heart's not broken Make believe it's true Make believe you'll love me one day And we'll say I do
So let the thunder drown my sobbing While I wait for you to call So let the raindrops hide my teardrops Because it's just a passing squall
Make believe you love me, darling Make believe you care Make believe you need me And I'll make believe you're there Make believe my heart's not broken Make believe it's true Make believe you'll love me one day And we'll say I do And we'll say I do
After my conversation with Sharlette, she says, "Thank you for contacting, it made me listen to the track again which gave me a lovely sense of nostalgia."

betty
I no longer have a TV, but I still watch some PBS shows online via their website. I haven't heard of "Endeavour" but I like the song that you posted.
