Johnny Cash - 'Hurt"

Salemslot9 Saturday Song

again
turn it up
hook up the extra speakers

Trent Reznor
from Nine Inch Nails
wrote this song
after Johnny Cash sang it
he said
it's not my song anymore

we have the cd/dvd
it's very emotional
to me
a good song
a good video

I've liked Johnny Cash
as long as I can remember
I think it had something to do
with my Dad

“So, I learn from my mistakes. It's a very painful way to learn, but without pain, the old saying is, there's no gain. I found that to be true in my life. You miss a lot of opportunities by making mistakes, but that's part of it: knowing that you're not shut out forever, and that there's a goal you still can reach.” said johnny cash.

I do think Johnny Cash is one of the most soulful singers I know. I think of him as respecting eternal values even when he was out of control. He would recognize it as he does in this song and do penance.
